The Society for the Study of Early Modern Women makes five travel grants of $200 apiece available for graduate student members who wish to attend the Society's annual meeting. Application forms for this award are available here. Membership information is available here.

Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:

  • strength and originality of the research, as described in the materials submitted
  • quality of the application, especially its clarity and detail
  • relevance of research to the Society's membership
  • academic background and place in program
  • geographical distribution
  • disciplinary distribution
